Landlord Sues Dana Airline For N540m In Damages

 
A landlord in Lagos, Omawunmi Daniel, has filed a N540 million suit against Dana airline at the Federal High Court, after a plane belonging to Dana crashed into his house
on June 3 2012. Other defendants in the suit are the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA and Prestige Assurance Plc.

Through his lawyer, Daniel said that apart from the building that was destroyed he lost his personal belongings, and properties of his business that include fish ponds and a warehouse.

Daniel said that he had asked Dana airline for N172 530 960, but Dana Airline offered him N74 417 429, before the two parties settled at N97 300 777, but Dana Airline had not paid the money completely and did not treat him well.
