American actor Michael Jace was reportedly arrested and charged with homicide after the shooting his wife of ten years on May 19 and called the police himself saying, ‘I shot my wife.’
Jace killed his 40-year-old wife named April on Monday, May 19 in the presence of his two children, both below 10.
Police revealed that the suspected motive of murder was domestic violence.
Police confirmed to that Jace called 911 and said: "I shot my wife." Investigators arrested Michael at their home in Hyde Park, Los Angeles Police Detective Lyman Doster confirmed to Journalists. The shooting took place 8:30 pm, and neighbors called the police reporting that they heard shots fired.
The actor gained popularity after featuring in the episodes of FX police drama The Shield, broadcast from 2002 to 2008. He also appeared on several episodes of Southland, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Private Practice, The Mentalist, Burn Notice and NYPD Blue.
