A new tweet from the Defence Headquarters reveals that men of the Nigerian Armed Forces have now captured one of Boko Haram’s most deadly weapons.
The disclosure which came through the twitter handle of the Defence Spokesperson, Gen. Chris Olukolade reads ”@DefenceInfoNG capture BH ‘ Toyota Technical’ configured with Quad Barreled ZSU-23-4 Shilka Gunnery Beegeagle.”
DailyPost recalls that the Defense Headquarters had yesterday informed, through the same channel, that “the situation in Mubi, Michika, Bazza, Gulak, Gwoza, Bama, Gamboru Ngala and other parts of the North East is being stabilized as highly coordinated air and land operations are ongoing.”
It asserted that the ongoing counter-terrorism efforts were yielding impressive results in the overall bid to rid affected parts of the country of all terrorist activities.
